How To Feel Festive

I decided that a great way to kick off the Christmas season was to share a post featuring many ways that you can feel festive. I never normally share posts like this but I have really enjoyed coming up with all the different ideas. Sometimes you may feel ready for Christmas in August then when December comes around you're just not feeling it any more. This post is for everyone who either needs some inspiration, doesn't feel festive, or if like me you just LOVE CHRISTMAS!

  • listen to christmas music and sing along (obviously)
  • find something on pinterest/in a book to bake
  • decorate your tree/house/bedroom
  • go out and find pretty christmas lights
  • light a festive scented candle
  • go to a christmas market
  • go shopping/window shopping
  • go ice skating
  • make a gingerbread house
  • have a festive photo shoot
  • give yourself/someone else a festive makeover
  • make mince pies
  • make a wreath
  • play board/card games
  • watch vlogmas on youtube
  • read blog posts
  • create a christmas/winter board on pinterest
  • start a festive theme on instagram
  • do secret santa
  • make a festive drink
  • buy a festive drink
  • go out for a walk
  • make a christmas mood board for your bedroom
  • write/make christmas cards
  • read a book
  • go out and look at christmas displays/decorations in shops
  • watch all of the harry potter films
  • have a bath using lush products
  • create a blog
  • put up fairy lights in your bedroom
  • wear christmas pyjamas
  • wear a christmas jumper
  • buy/open an advent calendar
  • go for a walk in the forest/woods
  • buy cheap films from cex and have a movie marathon
